Alright, I'm starting to leave my house again. I just couldn't get out. I kept thinking that whatever was out there would come back for me. I hope it doesn't, I can't afford another night like that.

On the whole though, I haven't gotten much done. I had an interview a few days ago, but haven't heard back. I think the guy noticed my paranoia. I hope I get it though, it'd be a good excuse to get out of the house. I need to too, I'm starting to ache a bit. I haven't been sleeping either, but who can sleep with the air as cold as it's been?

Anyway, I'll try to post more often guys. No more of this once a week stuff.

Okay, I'm really freaked out now.

I haven't been telling you all everything. For the last couple days, I've been hearing tapping at my front door. But tonight it wasn't tapping, it was three very loud bangs. I think something is trying to get my attention. Help me, somebody.

I don't think I can sleep tonight.

So, remember how I said I haven't seen Tom in a few weeks? It turns out he's left completely. We checked his house and everythings still there, except his car, and the fridge is completely empty. Most of his clothes, and all of his pictures. He's been freaking out about something for awhile, but I didn't know he was this afraid.

Maybe I should join him.

So today was pretty fun. I managed to get a bunch of us together to go to a local family center. We all had fun on the go-carts and in the laser tag, and just had a great time. I really started having fun in the laser tag, I think the set up they had was amazing in there, although I think I over-exerted myself because my lungs started freaking on me.

After that we went and saw Inception at the cheap theater. I got to say it wasn't very interesting. I don't see the appeal. I didn't get lost, but I couldn't get into the drama, and the effects almost made me sick again.

But it was still fun, I just wish Tom could have made it. I haven't seen him in a couple weeks.

but yah, that's it guys. Have a good weekend.

Sunday, November 7, 2010

Okay, so I haven't posted a blog in awhile so I'm going to tell you what I've been up to. So I've been searching around for whatever it is that freaked a friend of me. The search has yielded little results but a the little information I've gained is interesting. I turns out that the area I'm in has a history of events happening. I don't know how to describe it but the pieces that I am able to put together say that there's something around that only appears to certain people. I don't know why it appears but I still have a lot of things to reasearch before I start to worry. I just have to remind myself, it's just a legend.

Otherwise I've been okay. The stress of this stalker is kind of getting to me, but I was able to get some work recently. It's not a permanent job, but the pay was alright, and I got to get out of this town. I'm not saying I don't like where I live, I just needed to get away. It felt like a weight was lifted off me, kind of like when I went hiking.

Anyway, I hope to get out of town more often. It just seems like I should. If you readers have any information about work, something to do, or even information about my unwanted friend, e-mail me at guessworkgreg@gmail.com

see ya later readers,

Okay, so over the weekend a friend of mine got freaked out about something around my house. He wouldn't tell me why it freaked him out, only that it was something like what I've been seeing.

I think I need to look around for what ever has us freaked out.

Post 10/28/2010

So, good week so far. I just want to say hey to my new friends who may be reading this. I'm really enjoying it out here. Don't really care for the street layout though :/.

Anyway, I'm still trying to get a job, and more importantly applying for student aid at CSU soon. Hopefully I'll get it before next year. God, I'll miss my credit.

Also, I don't think the tall guy is a different person, I don't know. Oh well, halloween is almost over so I hope I don't have to see him much longer.

Went up into the canyon today. I love the air up there, so crisp and the snow was beautiful. I hope I can get some money to go skiing this winter, that would be awesome. I visited a small town while I was up there, and got a ton of jerky for my friend I went up there with. I hope I don't have to stop hiking when I get a job, then again I had another coughing attack while I was up there. I swear this elevation is going to kill me before I get used to it.

Well, I'll you you later guys. I'm going to get some dinner.

So I went to the Zombie Crawl downtown on Saturday. It was fun, a lot of people dressed up and having a great time. I got into it and hung out. Found the Waldo zombie so that was fun. Just think a week ago I knew no one, now I'm mingling with the rest of the town.

Yesterday was alright. I went up and saw the Horsetooth resevoir, can't wait till spring to go boating on it. It's too cold for me as is.

Today, I'm just job hunting. There's a grocery store about to open near my neighborhood, so I'm going to bug them.

As a note though, there was one guy on Saturday, on my way home, that wasn't dressed up as a zombie. I mean it was clearly a costume, but not the one I'd expect. He was really tall, probably just stilts.

Anyway, hope you guys had a good weekend, I'll be back soon enough.

Fun Week

Okay, so just got here a few days ago. I guess it's true what they say about Colorado weather. Rained today, so I got to use some of my winter gear. Apperently I look like a tourist :/

Anyway, this climate must be getting to me, I started coughing pretty seriously today at the park. Hope no one thought I was dieing.

So yeah, met some cool people. They were pretty cool, and the first friends of mine from Colorado.

Well, just wanted to check in with you guys. See ya next week guys.

10/20/2010: Alpha post

Hi guys,
So I decided to start this blog when I recently moved to Colorado, from Illinois. I'm kinda living off to the side of town, close to the woods, so it's a really easy transition from where I was.
So anyway, for those of you who don't know I'm GuessworkGreg, or just Greg. I love the atmosphere of Colorado, trying to get into CSU for an ecological degree (so much updates on that). I'll try to update as much as I can, so keep checking in and hope to hear from many of you. If you live in the 970 area and want to hang out, send me a message and we can try to meet up. Like I say, I'm new to town so I want to get around.

-See ya,
Greg
